The Chamber's Luncheon is held the third Wednesday of each month. The business community comes together for networking and programs, presented monthly by the Chamber of Commerce. This months luncheon was sponsored by State Representative Bob Nance.

Komen Foundation in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. • Oct. 4 – Fall on the Farm at the Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Special activities include corn shelling, cider pressing, seed saving, ragdoll making, toy making, a wood stove cooking demonstration and sheep shearing.
