The Chamber's Luncheon is held the third Wednesday of each month. The business community comes together for networking and programs, presented monthly by the Chamber of Commerce. This months luncheon was sponsored by State Representative Bob Nance.

Community Prospectus
The City of Excelsior Springs and the Chamber of Commerce have completed a new community prospectus called "A Planters Guide."
The guide creates a pathway to investing in Excelsior Springs for economic development, plus information on the city, schools, hospital, tourism and residential development.

• Oct. 3-4 – Pink Spa Weekend atThe Elms Resort & Spa, 816-630-5500. The Spa will contribute a portion packages to Susan G. Komen Foundation in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

• Oct. 4 – Fall on the Farm at the Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Special activities include corn shelling, cider pressing, seed saving, ragdoll making, toy making, a wood stove cooking demonstration and sheep shearing. Mill tours will be available at a reduced price. Watkins House, Mount Vernon Church and Franklin Academy will be open.

• Oct. 3-5, 10-12, 17-19, and 23-25 – Paradise Playhouse comedy presentation "A Tuna Christmas" by Ed Howard, Joe Sears and Jaston Williams. For more details click here.

• Oct. 3-5, 10-11 – "Broadway to Hollywood" presented by the Excelsior Springs Community Theatre, Community of Christ Church, Plummer Rd. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Click here to reserve tickets.

• Oct. 10 – Homecoming, Excelsior Springs vs Odessa

• Oct. 21 - Nov. 29 – The Excelsior Springs Museum and Archives is proud to host a cutting-edge art quilt exhibition, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Members of the Front Range Contemporary Quilters, one of the oldest art quilt guilds in the United States, will have on exhibit 40 quilts. • Oct. 23 – Christmas Extravaganza from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m., located at Excelsior Springs Medical Center.

• Oct. 25 – The Board of Directors of Excelsior Springs Health Care Foundation request the honor of your presence at the 16th Annual Dinner and Auction, Elms Resort Hotel and Spa. Master Plan survey on-line
The City of Excelsior Springs and RDG/Larkin Group invite the public to participate in an on-line survey that asks about strengths, weaknesses and wish lists for Excelsior Springs. The information is being gathered as part of the process of putting together a comprehensive Master Plan. Click on button at right to participate in survey.
